Executive Director, Missouri River Coalition

Shane Kinne is the Executive Director of The Coalition to Protect the Missouri River (CPMR), an organization representing those who live and work on the Missouri River and whose membership spans across the Midwest from Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska. Prior to joining CPMR, he spent nearly a decade working with state, federal and NGO partners in his role leading public policy and outreach initiatives for the Missouri Corn Growers Association. During that time, he gained a wealth of knowledge and experience with Missouri River issues as he navigated the organization through the historic flood of 2011.
